Our hosts, Wendy and Steve, displayed a level of attentiveness that elevated our experience. The accommodation features a well-maintained room with en-suite facilities, including an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV, ensuring convenience for every guest. The dining options were commendable, with breakfast ranging from fresh fruit to a hearty Full English. The on-site restaurant and bar created a warm atmosphere, especially on busy Friday nights. Guests can enjoy their meals in a charming courtyard, where the soothing sound of the nearby river enhances relaxation. Value is evident, with free Wi-Fi and parking included. Although winter's chill was present, the cozy setting and log fire made our stay more enjoyable. The Talbot Arms offers good quality at a reasonable price, making it a noteworthy choice for local exploration.
